20 YEARS OF LIVADA!

By Livada Orphan Care|
In December 2001, Livada Orphan Care became official. We started taking care of abandoned kids in large institutions by bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to them in word and in action.
Practical needs were met: nutrition, dental care, glasses, medical care, education, computers, playgrounds, construction projects, special education training, caregiver training, social work, clothes, shoes, boots, socks, underwear, field trips, and summer camps.
But most importantly, we provided kind, compassionate human connections with kids who had been warehoused, abandoned, and abused. God came near through those daily clubs, visits, humanitarian aid provisions, and one on ones with thousands of kids and thousands of volunteers from Romania, the EU, Australia, and the USA.
Thousands of kids and Romanian volunteers heard the Gospel for the first time and accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. The Church grew and expanded. Dozens of Livada missionaries were sent. Hundreds of discipleship groups and Bible clubs formed to help kids hide God’s Word in their hearts.
And many of you made that possible through your financial support, your prayers, and even by coming to serve alongside us in person. We thank God for that. We thank God for the past 20 years that have never, ever been easy. But they have been fruitful. And that is why we started this whole thing in the first place: We wanted to bear fruit that would last through this “Livada” (the Romanian word for “orchard).
May the Lord richly bless this next twenty years. And may He richly bless you for your kindness in helping us let these little children come to Him, unhindered, so that the Kingdom of God could belong to them too.
Here is to the next 20 years and for more fruit that will last,
