Over Christmas we got a lot of hand-knitted sweater, socks, caps and blankets from Switzerland. Of course we shared this received blessing with some of the poorer families in Ogra. Right in time, when the cold weather started in Romania, we could give to approximate 30 families a package for their little children, who are too young to attend our programs. It was an exciting moment for every family and they were really thankful. Besides that, it was also a good possibility to talk with them; to hear how they are doing and where they are struggling. All that helps to build trust and a deeper relationship.
Our weekly programs with the children started as well and we had every time a „full house“. Especially the little ones (5-6years old) are enjoying their separate program and special attention. We try – in their early age – to implement God’s love for them. Our weekly bible story is illustrated with flannel pictures, which is very impressive for these little kids and they just love it!
We are thankful for all these children with whom we are working throughout the year and are curious what we’ll experience together, this semester, with our heavenly Father.
