A New Beginning

After a loooong summer vacation filled with activities, outings, and fun we started school with enthusiasm. The eight children living in Casa Juliana eagerly awaited this day even if they were a little bit nervous and some did not know what to expect. After the opening ceremony of the school year, our staff led each child to their classes.
Sergiu, Ilinca and Alexandra attend kindergarten for the second year and enjoy it very much. Laji, Nicusor and Costi left kindergarten behind and started school in 0 grades (preparatory group). Nicusor and Costi are so excited that they finally grew up and get to go to school! They are looking forward to wearing their nice backpacks and learning new things, and meeting new friends. Attila and Eva just started second grade. Eva was a little bit worried because her teacher was replaced, but she is already getting used to the changes. Attila is very ambitious and we believe he will have a great year of school.
We ask you to join us in prayer for our children to have open minds and to easily adapt to any changes. Also, please pray for our tutors and the teachers in school that God will give them wisdom, love and patience when investing in these children.
