Since 2001 Livada has been developed, encouraged and held accountable by an Executive Board of Directors. The Board will be expanded in 2020. There are currently three US Executive Board members since the recent transition in September of 2019: Adrian Stanciu, Nana Sellers, and Bruce Thomas.
Bruce Thomas is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary and the University of Georgia. He and his wife Catherine founded Livada in 2001. They have four sons. Their first two sons are adopted from Romania. He has been working and serving in Romania since 1990. Bruce is also a certified professional fundraiser and has completed his masters level Non-profit management certification through Ministry Ventures.
Adrian Stanciu lives in Cluj, Romania. He is a native of Brasov, Romania and has been an integral part of developing major Christian denominational and organizational leadership since before the Revolution of 1989. Adi and his wife Floare have one daughter and son-in-law. They have four grandchildren. Adi serves on multiple international ministry boards and is a founding member of the Romania Without Orphans Alliance. Adi has his B.S. and MDiv degrees and has been a pastor and non-profit Executive Director for multiple international organizations and ministries for over 30 years.
Nana Sellers was born in Targu Mures, Romania. Since 1999 she has had the privilege of serving the Lord through the platform of underprivileged children, first as a volunteer, then as a ministry director in Romania. In 2002 she moved to United States (Little Rock, Arkansas) to marry her best friend, Dr. Matt Sellers. She coordinated numerous trips to Romania since, and remain involved in the lives of the staff and children in Romania. The Lord has blessed them with three wonderful children, who have been able to participate in summer camp several times since they were very little.She has a B.S. degree in Economics and Accounting from Babes Bolyai, Cluj, Romania and has a professional background in international business and non-profit management.
