In 2009, Remi was just a high school student looking to fill his summer with fun when he stumbled upon the LOC Foundation’s camps. What began as a way to make new friends quickly turned into something much bigger. By the next summer, Remi realized that the joy and smiles he brought to the children were what truly mattered most. His journey didn't stop there. Remi and the team started visiting the Roma community in Ogra, offering weekly programs to teach children about God. This was the beginning of a life dedicated to serving vulnerable communities. Over time, Remi transitioned to full-time work with the LOC Foundation, and his heart for the children only grew stronger. In 2015, Remi met Emily, a missionary from the USA. They married a year later, and in 2018, they made a life-changing decision—they became foster parents to six children under the Foundation’s care at Casa Ana Nadia. The road hasn’t always been easy, but Remi and Emily have experienced countless blessings, witnessing how God has provided them with the strength, patience, and wisdom to guide these children. Today, Remi and Emily are not just house parents to five teenage boys with difficult pasts, but they also have a toddler of their own. Raising this big family is no small feat, but Remi’s unwavering commitment shines through in everything he does, especially in guiding the boys towards the church and a brighter future.
