The Romania Without Orphans Alliance (arfo.ro)
In 2010, Livada co-founded the Romania Without Orphans Alliance. With ARFO, we continue to mobilize the Church to local action, the government entities for better child welfare initiatives, and we train thousands of caregivers in trauma-informed care strategies like TBRI. Foster and Adoptive parents, social workers, counselors, educators, and anyone else who works directly with vulnerable children continue to be trained through live and online seminars and conferences.
Orphan Outreach (Follow Up Clubs)
Kids who reside in government group homes/state foster care are invited to attend our highly relational weekly Christian clubs, evangelistic summer camps, discipleship groups, and receive supplemental education and humanitarian aid through our orphan care after-school programs and special events throughout the year.

Some Ways to Get Involved
Summer Camp
Summer Camp experiences are available for teams interested in serving for one to two weeks with children and teens at camp. This is the most important week of the year for the children we work with in state care and the Gypsy villages.
Short-term Mission Trips
Short-term mission trips allow church and youth groups, families, college students, singles and adult teams to serve alongside Livada staff and volunteers as we invest in the lives of children throughout the year.
Livada Internships
Spend your summer with us in Romania! Opportunities include serving at camp with children and teens, leading day camp-style VBS programs in the gypsy villages, caring for abandoned babies & toddlers in a state hospital, and assisting the short term mission teams who are helping Livada Orphan Care.
STINT Missionary Opportunities
Our Short Term InterNational Team (STINT) is made up of Western Christians working alongside our Romanian staff and volunteers to minister to Romanian orphans. This involves a 1-2 year commitment for service.
