Rodica
serves as the Executive Director for Fundatia LOC - the Romanian Foundation for Livada Orphan Care. From her first steps as a volunteer at Foundation LOC in 2003, Rodica has woven a remarkable tapestry of service and leadership. Initially, as a bright-eyed student, she embarked on her journey, dedicating two years as a Follow-Up Volunteer in state care group homes and mentor apartments. Her path, rich with purpose, led her from volunteering to becoming a cherished educator in residential homes in 2005. By 2007, her compassionate influence expanded to a local Baby hospital, where she brilliantly balanced coordinating a new program while continuing her educator role. Fast forward to 2014, Rodica's leadership shone brightly as she directed Casa Juliana, further proving her unwavering commitment to making a difference. Between 2020 and 2023, Rodica's expertise guided her through vital administrative roles, culminating in her well-deserved appointment as Executive Director in December 2023. Though she initially pursued pharmacy, akin to apostle Paul's journey from Rome to Malta, Rodica found her true calling in social care - a divine redirection towards serving vulnerable children. We stand in awe of Rodica's 20-year journey of faith, compassion, kindness, and empathy - a journey that has not only powered her through challenges but also molded her into the exemplary leader she is today.
