At Livada Orphan Care, we believe that every child deserves warmth, security, and the chance to focus on their education without the challenges of harsh weather. In January 2025, we had the privilege of making a tangible difference in the lives of children in Lascud and Ogra through Livada’s Project Warm Feet.

A Step Towards Comfort in Lascud

In the small village of Lascud, where unpaved roads turn into muddy obstacles during rainy days, children from kindergarten through 4th grade often face a challenging journey to school. Thanks to your generous support and our incredible partners at Metro Ministries Romania, we provided rubber boots to these little ones. Now, the cold and mud will no longer stand in their way, and they can walk to school with confidence and joy!

Overcoming Mud in Ogra

Meanwhile, in Ogra, knee-deep mud was a daily struggle for children in grades 0-4. But yesterday, that changed! Through Project Warm Feet, we equipped every child with a sturdy pair of rubber boots. Their excitement was contagious as they realized that rain or shine, they could now walk safely and comfortably to school.
